May is deck safety month and we decided the first episode of this safety oriented month should be geared towards things a homeowner should check on their deck every year!
These issues can happen on any deck, they can be safegaurded against too, but if they persist without being fixed it can lead to catastrophic failure. Which lead us into a whole conversation about permit inspectors...

The Way We Used To Roll // Episode 177
Monday May 02, 2022
Monday May 02, 2022
We went up the chain last week. This week we turned it back on ourselves. Look at all of the stuff that we used to do in order to start and run a lumber yard. Its amazing that we succeeded past year 2. The most important lesson here is that each time one of those mistakes came up we didn't let it take us down. We got to the root of it and attempted to fix the problem each and every time until it was fixed for good.
If you want to have a few laughs and see what TUDS was like in the beginning listen to this one.

To Homeshow or not to Homeshow? // Episode 172
Monday Mar 07, 2022
Monday Mar 07, 2022
It depends. I think the best way to decide if you should be in a Homeshow this spring is to decide what you want out of it...then you will have your answer.
There are two ways to approach each Homeshow. You can do a hybrid of these but its usually better to stick to just one. We will go through both in detail. We did this one LIVE from a homeshow so its pretty fitting!
